I will be leading this retreat with Devrim Zahir, at the Baan Talay Retreat Centre on Koh Tao Island. The resort is a beautiful purpose built yoga centre on the Southern side of Koh Tao, overlooking the ocean.
Accommodation is in luxury wooden huts and in luxury tents.
The yoga taught will be AYP which is an integral yoga system. Practices will include asanas, Deep Meditation, Spinal Breathing Pranayama and Samyama as well as other yoga practices.
The focus of the retreat will be on the cultivation of inner silence through meditation, Self-inquiry practice (Jnana Yoga) and the cultivation of the witness.
There will be asana, pranayama and meditation sessions every morning and afternoon, and time for satsang (the philosophy of yoga) in the evenings.
There will also be free time each day for swimming, snorkelling, sun bathing and exploring the island.
None of the yoga or meditation sessions will be compulsory, so everyone can take the retreat at their own pace. All instruction and teachings will be given in English.
Food will be vegetarian and there will be two meals served each day (brunch and dinner). Food will be Thai style.
The Bungalow accommodation are located nearer the reception and restaurant areas, again offering great views of the sea and surrounding nature. The Seaview Hut accommodation option are traditional Thai-Style bungalows with Fan cooling systems, whereas the Seaview Cottage bungalows have AC units and are located a little closer to the Ocean. Both Types of bungalows have private balcony space to relax and unwind as well free wifi, mini fridge, cupboard space and private bathrooms. All bungalows have double beds so are suitable for single accommodation or for a couple sharing (Double Occupancy).

The Luxury Bell Tent accommodation are located a 5 minute walk down a nature trail towards the Sea. All the Bell tents have wonderful Sea views, relaxing areas and private Bathrooms. All units have 24 hour electricity, AC cooling units, free wifi, Private storage space and single beds. We have two types of each option below, unless a couple the tents will be divided between men/women.
Luxury tent (4 people sharing): 15,300 Thai Baht per person.
Luxury tent (3 people sharing): 16,000 Thai Baht per person.
Luxury tent (2 people sharing): 16,700 Thai Baht per person.

The cost includes accommodation, meals, all yoga classes and a day trip on one of the days to another part of the island. A 2000 Thai baht deposit is payable to secure a place on the retreat. The balance can be paid either before the retreat starts or on arrival.
The cost does not include travel to the island, or travel insurance, so participants will need to arrange these themselves.

Arrival will be on the afternoon of the 27th October and departure by noon on the 3rd November. The first class will be at 5pm on the 27th.
