What to bring?: Bring a yoga mat, a cushion for meditation if you use one and a light blanket for savasana if the weather is cold. Some spare mats and cushions are available.
Level: These classes are suitable for people of all levels of ability.
Cost: These classes are free of charge. Donations are welcome. No booking required. The classes are run on a drop-in basis so feel free to come along to any that you are interested in.

January 7th - Meditation and samadhi
January 14th - Pranayama and the purification of the subtle body
February 4th - 7 Chakras and three nadis
February 11th - Using bandhas with asana and pranayama
February 18th - The cultivation of the witness
February 25th - How asana works to purify the subtle body
March 4th - Self inquiry practice (jnana yoga)
March 11th - Automatic yoga- working with shakti during the awakening process
March 18th - Shakti and the crown
March 25th - 5 stages of the mind
Each class consist of around 45 minutes of asana (posture) practice, followed by pranayama, meditation and a talk on the philosophy of yoga.
The classes are suitable for everyone, although there are some advanced practices taught in the classes. These include pranayama practices, mudras, bandhas and the use of mantras etc. Some previous experience of yoga or a related spiritual discipline is helpful but not essential.
These classes are for people who are 16 years old or above.
