All classes are drop-in so feel free to come along and join in. Classes only run during term time so check the calendar first to make sure the class is happening.

FAQ


Q:   Can anyone come along to the classes?


A:   The classes are suitable for everyone, although there are some advanced practices taught in the classes. These include  pranayama practices, mudras, bandhas and the use of mantras etc.  Some previous experience of yoga or a related spiritual discipline is helpful but not essential.


The classes are for adults which means for people who are 16 years old or above. Children who are between 13 and 15 years old are welcome to attend the classes, if they are able to sit for 40 minutes.



Q:   What happens in a typical class?


A:   Classes usually consist of a period of asana practice (posture practice) lasting for 40 to 50 minutes, followed by breathing practices, a period of meditation and instruction in the philosophy of yoga.



Q: Do I need to book?


A: No, all classes are fun on a drop-in basis, so just come along on the day. If you have any questions you can contact me here.

Venue: St. Mary’s Church Hall, Totnes, Devon, England.


The Hall is located just above St. Mary’s Church on Totnes High Street. There is a small alley above the church leading off the main street and the hall is down there on the left.


Times: Wednesday mornings from 10 am to 12 during school term time only.

The first class will be on the 7th September 2016.
